De la vieja guarda del rock nacional, Luis Alberto Spinetta regresa a la escena de la cual nunca se fue, con un nuevo larga duración. Siguiendo la línea jazzera de "Pan", "Camalotus" y "Para los Arboles", nuevamente da cátedra musical, con un sonido y amplitud de acordes que no abundan en el rock argento. Con tres violeros invitados: Nicolás Ibarburu, Sartén Aserasi y Baltasar Comoito (activo de la banda del Indio Solari), deja ver un reflejo más que notable de la importancia que tiene la guitarra en su música. Manteniendo su voz en un gran nivel, "Un Mañana" deja claros resultados a nivel opinión, pocos son los que detractan su calidad como artista, y muchos menos los que dicen que suena mal.
El disco empieza con un lindo tema denominado La Mendiga, y sigue con una gran introducción (a mi gusto) para empezar Vacío Sideral, pero los puntos más alto llegan con Tu Vuelo al fin e Hiedra al sol que se lleva todos los aplausos, gran canción acústica con una lírica hermosa que hace escapar alguna lágrima y poner la piel de gallina como nos tiene acostumbrado el Flaco.
El tema 5, Canción de amor para Olga, está compuesto por él y Claudio Cardone. Contiene deliciosos interludios de cuerdas y recuerda al flaco más progresivo. Le sigue el instrumental que le da nombre al disco con un gran solo del mísmisimo Luis Alberto. Lo único que queda por decir es que Hombre de luz contiene una letra que pertenece a Luis Santiago Spinetta (padre de Luis Alberto).
Es un disco que hay que escucharlo porque estamos frente a otra genialidad del Flaco, hasta ahora uno de los mejores del año.
